Trauma Therapy

The impact is real. So is the possibility for change.

Whether it was a single overwhelming event or a series of painful experiences over time, trauma can deeply shape how we move through the world. You might feel on edge, emotionally numb, easily triggered, or stuck in patterns that are hard to change. ​

As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I work with both single-incident trauma (like accidents, medical events, or assaults) and more complex trauma (like chronic abuse, stress, or instability). Together, we’ll move at your pace to make sense of what happened and how it’s showing up in your life now.​

In our work together, we might focus on:​
 

  • Self-regulation tools to soothe overwhelming emotions and reduce reactivity

  • Grounding practices that support presence and help you feel safe in the here and now

  • Insight-oriented exploration to understand how past experiences impact current relationships, behaviors, and beliefs

  • Processing identity-based trauma and chronic stress, including the effects of racism, homophobia, misogyny, and other forms of oppression

  • Relational skill-building to foster connection, trust, and healthier relationships with others
     

This process isn’t about “fixing” yourself. It’s about reconnecting with your inner stability, agency, and the parts of you that are still whole.
